Good food, everything spot on apart from the price of a beer. £4.75 for pint of Tennents is very poor, no wonder the bar was dead. Otherwise, it was excellent!
Had a fantastic lunch such a lovely place
Great food and service as usual thankyou
Good value when on specials. Food well presented and good pleasant service.
first class and great value

ALWAYS GOOD...SECOND VISIT THIS MONTH
Good food with efficient and professional service. Excellent value for money.
Our first visit.. excellent service with excellent food and a lovely atmosphere definitely going back.
We took friends for a meal and they enjoyed it very much. Good choice on the Market Menu.
Efficient service by friendly staff.
Always good food and service. Planning to go again soon.
The food was of excellent quality, and service also very good, the only problem I had was trying to eat a prawn cocktail from those stupid high dishes, have management tried eating from them, because if they had I'm sure they would not have bought them, please! Lets go back to old fashioned sensible plates and dishes John C
Great food abd service
always enjoy a visit here- always great food and service
Restaurant was warm on a cold day. Clean, modern interior. Good varied menu and choice of lighter meals, and mains. We all had 2 course lunch. I particularly enjoyed the Lentil and Bacon soup I’ve booked again for next month.
This was our first visit in many years and my husband and I were very impressed. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal and we will definitely be back.
Great food and service thank you
Had to ask for water at the table 3 times took over 30 mins to get it, restaurant wasn’t overly busy. Food was good on my part, my husband ordered the beef olives which he said were okay but he has had better in the house. The beef ham around was tasty, but the centre was chewy and coarse.
Meal was lovely, service was first class
